The steel press is the machine that stamps steel ingots into bolts, rods, and plates once you add a mold. The cost to craft the press itself is the part three sources share.
I checked two videos rather than trusting the first pause. The Factory Update video shows the press near 3:24. RedSun’s “Obtaining Steel Press And Its Items” (24 October 2026, 1:19) is a second look at the same machine. Both line up with the classic wiki cost: 100 copper plate, 250 copper rod, 25 steel rod.
Craft cost versus mold ratios
Do not mix these two tables. Only the first is confirmed on Reborn footage.

Does the press make plates by itself?
You still need molds. The classic mold costs are listed above as classic, because the Reborn frames we checked showed the machine cost, not the mold math.
