Islands Reborn factory automation
Scope: !Project Reborn’s Roblox experience, Factory Update; checked 28 October 2026. Each source below is identified separately. A claim supported by only one publisher is a single-source report, not independent confirmation. Classic Islands figures are comparison data.
Creators have published steel-mill floors and conveyor chains. This page describes what those videos show and refuses the single-wiki throughput numbers.
I watched the titles and descriptions for the MewoRoblox steel farm, hair the engineer’s steel farm, and john lin’s KLKL mill part 1. They are layout tours. None of them is a lab log with a shared method. When a wiki then says one floor makes about 500 steel an hour, that sentence has one author. I left the rate off the page.
Ideas that show up more than once
Buffers: a competing wiki says to put a chest before machines so dropped items do not despawn. That is one written source. The videos do show boxes beside belts, which is consistent, but it is not a quoted rule from the developers.
Belts: the Factory Update video lists a conveyor as 1 steel rod and 5 iron. That cost is on the recipe table. How many belts a “good” floor uses is a design choice.
Numbers we will not print as fact
“2 smelters, 4 mills, 500 steel per hour, 1,000 with two floors” is a single competing wiki. Use your own machine count if you want a target. This site will not do the arithmetic and call it tested.
